Sin Corte
Spain

SIN CORTE is a pavilion that takes form through its method of making. Defined by continuity, the project uses offset timber vaults to minimise material waste while generating spatial depth, shade, and enclosure. Structure, fabrication, and environmental performance are integrated into a single system.
Interlocking timber elements are CNC-cut with minimal waste, forming a layered canopy that filters light and creates shifting gradients of shade. Timber forms the lightweight upper structure, while cast concrete bases provide durability and stability at ground level, using recycled aggregates to reduce embodied carbon.
Conceived as a low-impact and reversible installation, SIN CORTE can be rapidly assembled, disassembled, and reused, operating as an adaptable urban system rather than a fixed object.
